A tour bus collided with a bus full of and a car killing four international college students attending North Seattle College and injuring 51. Ride the Ducks of Seattle’s duck boat and a bus from Bellair Charters were involved in the accident. Cause of the accident is yet to be determined. [CNN]

The Porsche Chief Executive is set to be named the new boss at Volkswagen AG and several other top executives have been removed as the company moves swiftly to repair its image amidst its emissions tests rigging crisis. Two top executives, Ulrich Hackenberg and Wolfgagng Hatz responsible for VW’s brand development from 2007-2013 and motor development from 2007-2011 will exit the company. [BLOOMBERG]

Late yesterday, the lawyer representing the accuser in the sexual assault case, that held the press conference has now quit. Thomas Eoannou the Buffalo attorney dropped the Patrick Kane accuser as a client over “misrepresentations” of the evidence bag left at the home of the accuser’s mother. Kane’s attorney, Paul J. Cambria said “It’s obvious to me that Eoannou dropped out of the case because he was lied to by his client’s family. They fabricated evidence. I told you yesterday that this whole thing was a hoax, and now it is obvious.” [BUFFALO NEWS]

It seems we may not have to wait until December as Fed chair Janet Yellen indicated that there is a strong possibility the benchmark interest rates will be raised due to the improvements of the labor markets. During a speech at University of Massachusetts on Tuesday she cautioned that “if the economy surprises us, our judgements about appropriate monetary policy will change.” [NY TIMES]
