This week clothing brand MM.LaFleur made headlines for its almost 1,000 person strong waitlist for their “Tory” LBD, a faux wrap dress with an asymmetrical hemline. MM.LaFleur, which launched in 2013, was founded by Sarah LaFleur, Miyako Nakamura-former head designer of Zac Posen and Narie Foster with the goal of helping professional women dress chic for work without looking blah.

They put together fashion “bento boxes” for women of MM.LaFleur pieces ranging in price between $150 to $300 per item. Lucky Chicago ladies can get in on the action and feel the pieces first hand at their trunk show taking place at the Wit until Saturday Sept. 27 but you have to book your appointment online HERE. They will have complimentary espresso, wine, and prosecco.
