The Army’s Sergeant 1st Class Gregory McQueen, a former III Corps sexual assault prevention officer, pimped subordinate cashed strapped female soldiers to higher-ranking officers who attended his sex parties, as reported in a lengthy investigation by the U.S. Army’s Criminal Investigation Command. He was court martialed and has been sentenced to two years in prison and dishonorably discharged in a plea deal, copping to 15 of 21 charges against him. It’s quite the read but whoa! [DAILY BEAST]

That a girl! A bride to be walked out of her wedding when she realized her bridegroom (Ram Baran) could not complete a simple math problem. She asked the groom to add 15 and six and when he replied 17, she called off the marriage, which was arranged by their families. The bride’s father, Mohar Singh, stated the “groom’s family had kept us in the dark about his poor education.” [BBC]

Luxury sports automaker Porsche AG is considering adding battery powered car to its lineup expanding it to seven models and would probably hit the market by 2020. Porsche plans to sell more than 200,000 vehicles for the first time this year, driven by demand for its $49,900 Macan SUV. Reed Krakoff’s namesake brand will suspend all future design and production for an unspecified time period and shut down its store on Madison Avenue within the next three weeks. The company released statement that they meet with potential investors and explore other strategic options, ranging from “production and distribution partnerships” to a full sale of the business. Krakoff was the former executive creative director at Coach. Guessing there weren’t a lot of people buying $900+ handbags. [FASHIONISTA]
