Did he really Kill them all? Robert Durst, who was the subject of a six part HBO documentary The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst was arrested over the weekend in New Orleans and held on first-degree murder warrant. He had been the main suspect in the death of writer and Durst confidant Susan Berman, whose body was found on Christmas Eve 2000. He is also suspected of the disappearance of his first wife Kathleen McCormack in 1982.Durst admitted cutting up his neighbors’ body and dumping the remains in Galveston Bay but was acquitted based ons elf defense. Protesters, almost a million of them, peacefully marched along Copacabana beach and in the capital Brasilia, to call for the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff who became Brazil’s first female president in 2011. Brazil is facing a recession again this year as well a money laundering and bribery scandal centered around Petrobras, Brazil’s state-run oil company. [CNN]

It’s that time of the year, March Madness. Yesterday the teams playing in the 2015 NCAA Basketball Tournament were revealed, broken down into four regions-East, West, South & Midwest. Some of the to seeded teams included Wisconsin, University of Kentucky, Villanova, Duke. Now it’s time to use your best Nate Silver abilities to build the perfect bracket and The First Four(the last four at-large schools and non-automatic qualifiers) Tournament plays begins March 17. Tad Smith, who was most recently president and CEO of Madison Square Garden Co, has been named the new CEO of auction house Sotheby’s and he will begin on March 31. Sotheby’s will separate the roles of Chairman and Chief Executive Office, appointing Lead Independent Director Domenico De Sole to succeed Ruprecht as Chairman of the Board. Del Sole, a former Gucci Group executive, is also Chairman of Tom Ford. [BLOOMBERG]


CELEBRITIES

Olivia Wilde is the face of H&M’s new Conscious Exclusive collection campaign which will be unveil today. Wilde is the cofounder of philanthropic e–commerce site Conscious Commerce teamed up with H&M last year on a clothes recycling campaign called Comeback. The Conscious Exclusive collection will launch in about 200 H&M stores and online on April 16. [WWD]

Following Sir Elton John’s call to boycott their brand over comments made about children born into a non-traditional family, Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce are responded with a statement “We firmly believe in democracy and the fundamental principle of freedom of expression that upholds it…We talked about our way of seeing reality, but it was never our intention to judge other people’s choices. We do believe in freedom and love.” The comments stemmed from an interview that Dolce revealed that he felt he could not have children because he was gay. [VOGUE UK]
