We got a deal Jack! is what both sides are saying after AB Inbev’s proposal to pay almost $106 billion for SABMiller Plc, because the last two offers of $100B and $104B just wouldn’t cut it. This will definitely go up against a lot of regulatory scrutiny because they are about to create a brewer powerhouse that will sell one in every three beers, globally. The takeover, if completed, would be the largest in U.K. history though SABMiller is to get $3 billion fee if regulators block deal. AB InBev may have to sell their stakes in MillerCoors joint venture in U.S. [BLOOMBERG]

The Dutch Safety Board after thorough investigation have concluded that Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 that crashed over Ukraine in July 2014 was hit by a Russian-made Buk missile fired from eastern Ukraine. You’ll remember that at the time of that crash, a lot of unrest was happening in the area but the airspace wasn’t closed. [USA TODAY]
