• Remains of victims from Egypt Air Flight MS804 headed to Cairo from Paris and vanished from radar Thursday, may give investigators clues as to whether an explosion brought the plane down. An unnamed forensic examiner quoted by the Associated Press said the remains were so small an explosion was the only “logical” explanation. Greece’s defence minister Panos Kammenos, has said that military radar showed the Airbus A320 making two sharp turns and dropping more than 25,000ft (7,620m) before plunging into the Mediterranean Sea. .

• Bill Cosby, America’s favorite TV dad who’s been mired with sexual allegations offscreen will be in court today as preliminary hearings for his first criminal case where he faces felony indecent assault charges begins but not before revelation that he had sexual contact with 2 teenage girls back in the day who were later paid off by his lawyers. The revelations in the deposition came from Cosby’s settled civll case with Andrea Constand where he also admitted having sexual relations with Therese Serignese, who was 19 in 1976, and a few more lurid details, read transcript here.

• University of Chicago Trustee Michael Polsky, has made a $35 million donation which will be used to expand the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at U of C, it was announced during the university’s Innovation Fest. This brings his contributions to $50 million for the center. Polsky is the founder, President & CEO Invenergy, an alternative energy firm.

• Angelina Jolie, actress/philanthropist/activist, has been named professor in practice by the London School of Economics in a newly created specialist one-year MSc program where she will contribute to guest lectures on women, peace and security for students. “I am very encouraged by the creation of this master’s program,” Jolie said in a statement.

•  Alice through the Looking Glass premiered in LA yesterday evening. The Tim Burton directed film stars Johnny Depp, Sacha Baron Cohen, Mia Wasikowska and Helen Bonham Carter. Depp visited Jimmy Kimmel Live show to talk about the film and his now infamous Australia apology video. The show also featured a funny skit called “Baby Bachelorette.”

• Fashion stylist Mariel Haenn has partnered with designer TyLynn Nguyen on a 17 piece lingerie collection priced between $90 to $430, launching Wednesday on Nguyen’s e-commerce site and at Violet Grey. Haenn, along with Rob Zangardi are the styling duo know as RandM behind Jennifer Lopez’s looks.
