The Hollywood Reporter has released their fifth annual Top 25 ranking of power stylists right on the heels of the official end of awards season last month. The top honors this year went to Kate Young who moved up from her #4 spot last year. This year’s awards season saw breakouts like Alicia Vikander, Brie Larson, Michael B. Jordan and Rami Malek not only take top honors in their acting roles but also for their fashion picks, these stylists were responsible. Stylists to Jennifer Lopez (Rob Zangardi & Mariel Haenn), Naomi Watts, Lady Gaga (Brandon Maxwell), Cate Blanchett, Kerry Washington were also on the list, I mean they slayed plenty this awards season. Newcomers to the list are Elizabeth Saltzman at #4, Victoria Sekrier #5, Jill Lincoln & Jordan Johnson #11, Nina and Clare Hallworth, Jeff Kim, Cher Coulter, Micah McDonald, Wayman Bannerman and Leesa Evans.
