Soulcyle, opened their first location in Chicago last year April and in just a little under a year, they are gearing to open the doors on their THIRD Chicago location at Southport and Newport. The 4,600 sq ft indoor cycling studio’s Southport location will include full men’s and women’s locker rooms with three showers each, expansive apparel selections, lockers, shoe rentals and a communal roof deck. What started as one studio in NYC has grown a cult following nationwide which co-founder Elizabeth Cutler attests to their focus on customers. The third location will be at 3423 North Southport and officially open on Saturday, January 30th. You can start signing up for classes beginning Monday, January 25th.
In more SoulCycle news, they’ve partnered with Target for a nationwide 10-city tour featuring special three-day weekend events—with complimentary classes taught by certified SoulCycle instructors as well as a pop-up shop with Target x SoulCycle workout apparel #SoulCyclexTarget. Though they’ve held pop-ups in the past at Sundance, SXSW and Art Basel Miami Beach but this one will let guests experience why people like David Beckham, Type A execs and more live for the the 45-minute, high-intensity workouts. The tour will stop in Chicago February 5 – 7, at VENUESIX10 (610 South Michigan Ave.). Class times will be 8 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 12 PM, 5 PM, 6 PM. Sign-ups begin Friday, January 29th at 3PM EST.
