Luxury fitness and lifestyle brand Equinox which caters to a discerning customer base, is taking their vision and mission to the next level with the opening of the its first (of several to come) hotel inside the super hot Related owned Hudson Yards, the most expensive real-estate development in US history. The Equinox hotel property will begin to welcome its first guests starting around July 29, 2019 in New York City with plans for locations in Los Angeles (2021), Santa Clara, CA, Chicago (2022), Seattle (2019) and Houston (2021) to follow. This location will have the largest-ever-built Equinox Fitness Club, Equinox Hudson Yards at 60,000 sq. ft.

Some of the fabulous amenities guests can expect from this new Hudson Yards Equinox Hotel property that has 212 rooms, including 48 suites include:
- Rooms featuring total soundproofing and a total-blackout window system.
- The beds use CocoMat all natural fiber mattresses that perfectly adapt to any shape and form, utilizing a Scandinavian technique of two separate duvets that enable temperature regulation.
- Fitness club access that includes signature group fitness classes, private Pilates, personal training services, performance-driven spa,
- 25-yard indoor salt water pool, hot & cold plunge pools, outdoor leisure pool and terrace with culinary concept from renowned restaurateur, Stephen Starr, as well as a SoulCycle on the ground floor.
The room rates start at about $555+ per night for a deluxe room and goes up to about $7,695+ per night for the 1 bedroom Equinox suites and 2 bedroom Equinox suites start at about $8,995.
The hotel’s interior spaces were designed by David Rockwell/Rockwell Group, exterior spaces by Ken Smith Workshop and Rockwell Group and the 35 Hudson Yards building design was done by David Childs/SOM (Skidmore, Owings, Merrill, LLP); plus Joyce Wang designed the Equinox Fitness Club and Spa at the property. Equinox hotel labels itself as the hotel “For Those Who Want it all.”
The Los Angeles Equinox hotel (309-rooms) which will be housed inside a Frank Gehry designed $1 billion property that will include residential, hotel, and shopping complex, across from Walt Disney Concert Hall, broke ground earlier this year in February.
