Getting to the South of France From Chicago Now A Bit Closer

Have you had sunning by the sea in the South of France on your 2026 travel bucketlist like we have? The idea of taking a Euro summer in the French Riviera making new discoveries while living life the easy French way tempt you? It can now be a hop, skip, and transfer away via Delta Airlines.

It was recently announced that Nice Côte d’Azur (NCE) is further strengthening its North American air connectivity with the launch of a new direct route between Boston and Nice by way of Delta Air Lines!
Operating 3 weekly flights, this new service (under 8 hrs flight time) enhances the French Riviera’s transatlantic accessibility by offering non-stop access from the U.S. Northeast. You can find flights under $1000/economy in July but if you’re looking at peak season in June, economy without points will run over $2,000.

Boston now joins an already well-established network of long-haul routes connecting Nice Côte d’Azur with major North American gateways:

• New York JFK (Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, La Compagnie) – daily flights
• Atlanta (Delta Air Lines)
• Philadelphia (American Airlines, since 2024)
• Washington D.C. (American Airlines, since May 2025)
• Montreal (Air Canada, Air Transat)
