• The homicide rate in El Salvador has reached its highest level in a decade and according to reports is on pace to “become the hemisphere’s most deadly nation. Reflecting the changing tastes of American consumers, moving forward Target will segment goods throughout the store into three categories: “signature” “outperform” or “perform.” Brands that fall into the bottom “perform” category will remain on the shelves but won’t get featured as frequently in circulars or in stores, sorry Campbell’s soup. Taylor Swift’s BFF gang were featured in her new music video “Bad Blood” which debut last night and described as a mix of “Sin City, A little Kill Bill, A littleX-Men, with some Tron and The Fifth Elementthrown in for good measure.” It seems she also confirmed her relationship with DJ Calvin Harris; Kendall & Kylie Jenner were booed because #kardashians; Mariah Carey “sang” Chris Brown brought his daughter Royalty; Iggy Azalea debut possibly new chin and nose job and performed with Brittany Spears. • BalmainxHM is happening! Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing, flanked by models Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner at last night’s Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, announced that he will be the next designer collaborator with H&M. The #HMBALMAINNATION collection is scheduled to hit the company’s e-commerce site and stores worldwide on November 5 and will include clothes for women and men’s, shoes and accessories. [STYLE]
• Matches Fashion may be exploring options to sell and have reportedly hired Morgan Stanley to help map out those options.
