• The debate over Indiana’s controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which is seen as discriminatory to gays, continues as legislators in Arkansas approved a similar measure that Gov. Asa Hutchinson is expected to sign. Indiana Governor, Mike Pence, who strongly defended the Indiana statute that grants individuals and businesses legal grounds to defend themselves against claims of discrimination, wants legislation to clarify that the religious-freedom law does not allow discrimination. •Ryan Newman’s No. 31 team has been issued one of the largest penalties by NASCAR having found they illegally manipulated tires. • Sears, in an effort to raise much needed cash, is selling 254 properties, most of them occupied by Sears or Kmart stores and plans to then lease them back. it plans to raise more than $2.5 billion and also starts the process of unlocking the value of Sears’s real estate for shareholders. [WSJ]
