Starting Saturday Nov. 22, the Warby Parker Frame Studio will allow customers to try on glasses (sun and optical) and have their frames adjusted; they will also have a local photographer on-site everyday, so customers can have complimentary portraits taken! • The 24th richest man in the United States is about to pay one of the biggest divorce settlements in history. a judge in Oklahoma City has ruled that the 68-year-old Mr. Harold Hamm must pay nearly $1 billion to his ex-wife, Sue Ann Hamm. The judgment requires Mr. Hamm to pay his ex-wife about $320 million by the end of 2014. The rest is to be paid in chunks of at least $7 million a month. He did not have prenuptial agreement. • US President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin had few brief encounters on Tuesday during an Asia-Pacific summit in China. The two leaders would seem to have much to discuss but little chance of finding common ground. Communicating mostly by telephone over the past year, their contacts have been described as frustratingly tense as relations between Washington and Moscow have fallen to a post-Cold War low. Shareholders are scheduled to meet Nov. 20 in Nicosia, Europe’s last divided capital, to approve the appointment.Backing him are Viktor Vekselberg, the second-richest man in Russia, and Wilbur Ross, the U.S. billionaire.
