• The USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism released a study yesterday on the lack of diversity in Hollywood concluding that women, ethnic minorities, gay, lesbian and transgendered people were excluded at all levels of the industry, thereby creating an “epidemic of invisibility.” 414 feature films and TV shows from major studios were analyzed for the prevalence of women and minorities in front of and behind the camera….
• Phil Collins is back with his ex-wife Orianne Cevey whom he paid £25million in their divorce settlement and they are living together. In a recent interview she said, “our separation was the wrong decision, I now call Phil my husband again. We are so close that it does not actually make a difference if we are married or not, but we are determined to get married for a second time one day.”…

 Chicago Tribune CEO Jack Griffin? he gone! Justin Dearborn, former CEO of healthcare technology company Merge has been named the new CEO. You’ll remember earlier this month Michael Ferro paid $44 million to become the largest shareholder of Tribune Publishing and new board chairman; he made a large sum from Merge’s sale to IBM for $1 billion through his Merrick Ventures’ 24% stake. • The U.S. and Russia announced that a partial cease-fire in Syria will start Feb. 27 and Armed opposition groups that want to take part must confirm by Feb. 26 that they’ll abide by the cessation of hostilities agreement. Secretary of State John Kerry said “All parties must meet their commitments under this agreement” and “must remain committed over a period of time to make possible a political end to this conflict.”… 
• The Mobile World Congress, the place for mobile leaders to gather, collaborate and conduct business, is taking place in Barcelona. Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Buzzfeed Founder & CEO Jonah Peretti, Getty Images CEO Dawn Airey, Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton, Starcom Mediavest Group Global CEO Laura Desmond are set to deliver keynotes.

1.) Joan Burstein, known as Mrs B, founder of Browns (seriously one of the best and well curated luxury shopping sites) celebrated her 90th birthday at Claridge’s Sunday. Kinda like an Ultimo Joan Weisntein, but grander. 2) Sundial Brands, makers of natural skin and hair-care products of SheaMoisture and Nubian Heritage has created the new hair-care line Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture, to honor Madam C.J. Walker, America’s first female self-made millionaire and will will launch exclusively at Sephora stores nationwide on March 4 marking the first time one of Sundial’s brands is sold at Sephora. 3)Amazon is deepening its foray in fashion and has rolled out at least seven private label fashion brands. If successful it could help boost Amazon’s profits and contribute at least 25 cents to earnings per share in 2017.
