CHIPOTLE
Following an e-coli outbreak that began in the Portland area a few months ago, 30 Boston College students, including members of the men’s basketball team have reportedly gotten sick after eating at a Chipotle restaurant. An e-coli case has also been reported in Illinois, though details of that investigation is under wraps; there were 52 cases in nine states (Illinois, Maryland, Pennsylvania, California, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Oregon and Washington). Chipotle uses a complex supply chain for its 1,900 outlets that includes scores of small, independent farmers making it a bit harder to pinpoint the exact cause of the outbreak source. [REUTERS]

Swartz, Marigay McKee and Bill Ford and Carmen Busquets, Founder of Moda Operandi and CoutureLab, and Mira Duma, CEO and Founder of Buro 24/7 Int aka fashion heavies!
