The gun threat violence that shut down all activity at University of Chicago yesterday was a result of a comment posted by 21-year-old UIC student Jabari R. Dean on the website World Star Hip Hop (bka World Starrr) which he quickly deleted but not before someone alerted the FBI. He has been arrested and charged with transmitting a threat in interstate commerce…Mayor Emanuel is convening a task force that “will review the system of accountability, oversight and training that is currently in place for Chicago’s police officers.”
