Last night live at the Microsoft Theater in L.A., Jennifer Lopez hosted the American Music Awards show which she opened with a bootyfied mashup performance of the years biggest hits. Celine Dion introduced by Jared Leto who lost a friend in the Bataclan concert hall attack, sang an Edith Piaf song ‘Hymne à l’Amour’ in tribute to the Paris attacks; Alanis Morissette teamed up with Demi Lovato for a rendition of “You Oughta Know;” Justin Bieber closed out the show with a wet performance. Award winners included One Direction, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande.

Is the French government looking to patent a design indigenous to inhabitants of the municipality of Santa Maria Tlahuitoltepec, Oaxaca. The patent document reportedly filed by the French government for Isabel Marant and Antik Batik is laying claim to to the Santa Maria Tlahuitoltepec embroided blouses design and the Mexican community of Oaxaca will need to pay copyright fees in order to sell them, according to reports though Marant denies existence of such document.
