• Storm Katie is hitting parts of England and Wales resulting in cancelled flights from Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The storm, with wind gusts of up to 105 miles per hour, also damaged many properties and shut several major bridges. Speaking of Heathrow, a drone narrowly missed a Boeing 777 as it took from the airportoff back in November ’15, a new report revealed.

Johnson, considered a non-polarizing insider, currently serves as chief of patrol but he did not apply for the top job. “While each of the finalists had strong qualifications, the mayor did not feel that any of them were the complete package that Chicago needs at this time and thus none were offered the position.”

• Despite bad reviews from critics of the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, the film opened this weekend with box office record for best pre-summer debut grossing an estimated $170.1 million in the U.S. and Canada.
• Lady Gaga, born Stefani Germanotta, officially turns 30 today but over the weekend, stars including Kylie Minogue and fiancé Joshua Sasse, Lorde, Jack Antonoff, Taylor Swift, Pharell, Kate Hudson, Nick Jonas, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, Kathy Bates, Lana Del Rey, Lisa Vanderpump all turned up for her star-studded birthday party at No Name restaurant in LA.
