#RNCinCLE Day 1. The GOP convention in Cleveland is underway and it was an action packed day 1. First a few not Trump protesters caused commotion, then Scott Baio and Antonio Sabato Jr, mega stars of the big and silver screens addressed he audience. Rudy Guiliani used his speech to energize the crowd. Then Trump emerges in a silhoutte, gave a very very brief speech before introducing his wife Melania who wore a Roksanda off-white bell sleeve dress. That was the most we’ve heard from her throughout the campaign and she was well received until those pesky fact checkers began nosing around. Come to find out, parts of her speech is line by line very very similar to one First lady Michelle Obama delivered in 2008 to the DNC. Speaking of Michelle Obama, she will be on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden tomorrow. We can’t forget Congressman Steve King’s comment on MSNBC during a panel discussion where he asked “Where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?” Day 2, here we come!…Read more

• Mercedes-Benz self-driving bus program just had one of it’s future bus driveabout 12 miles in Amsterdam. To make the trip, the bus had to stop at traffic lights, pass through tunnels, and navigate among pedestrians.
• A tour bus full of Chinese tourists in Taiwan caught fire on a highway near Taiwan’s capital killing the 24 visitors from China, the bus driver and tour guide both from Taiwan. Eyewitnesses said the bus had been giving off smoke and swerving from lane to lane prior to crashing and bursting into flames.
