• Nik Wallenda, “The King of the Highwire,” announced that he is planning to walk a portion of his highly anticipated tightrope walk over the Chicago skyline wearing a blindfold on Nov. 7. The broadcast will air live around the world in more than 220 countries. Wallenda will walk further than two city blocks – uphill rising to a 15-degree angle – from the iconic Marina City’s west tower to the Leo Burnett Building at more than 50 stories high above the Chicago River, Nik will then be blindfolded for the second part of the tightrope walk, which will span from the Marina City’s west tower to the east tower. • The case of the two British tourists, Hannah Witheridge and David Miller, found dead on a Thailand beach may have a break as two Burmese men have confessed to the murder, reports CNN. DNA in semen taken from Witheridge matched samples taken from the two men. [CNN]

• Arizona Wildcats beat Oregon Ducks 31-24 in Eugene OR Thursday night. This was Arizona’s second consecutive upset of Oregon. Arizona is now 5-0 [ESPN]
BUSINESS
• JP Morgan Chase’s cyber attack that occured back in July has been revealed to have impacted 76 million households and 7 million small businesses. According to their SEC filing, contact information (name, address, phone number and e-mail address), as well as internal JPMorgan Chase information about the users, was compromised but JPMorgan said “there is no evidence that account information for such affected customers — account numbers, passwords, user IDs, dates of birth or Social Security numbers — was compromised during this attack.” The hackers were able to gain “the highest level of administrative privilege” on more than 90 of the bank’s servers [USA TODAY]
