•The husband of the Chicago stage actress Molly Glynn who died in September when a tree fell on her while she rode her bike through Erickson Woods is suing the Forest Preserve District of Cook County. • An FBI agent impersonated an Associated Press reporter during a 2007 criminal investigation, a ruse the news organization says could undermine its credibility. The agent “portrayed himself as an employee of The Associated Press” to help catch a 15-year-old suspect accused of making bomb threats at a high school near Olympia, Washington. [HUFFINGTON POST]

• Princess Cristina de Borbón, a sister of King Felipe VI of Spain, is under investigation on two counts of tax fraud but no longer under suspicion of money laundering. [WALL STREET JOURNAL]

• Internet TV start-up Aereo, which recently lost a Supreme Court case over copyright violation, ceased its operations in June is closing its largest office in Boston and all 43 employees at that office would lose their jobs, effective from November 12. The firm launched in 2012 with an initial US$20.5m investment led by former Fox CEO Barry Diller’s IAC, which was involved in two subsequent rounds of US$38m and US$34m.
