Basketball: Mamba out and Ball breaking Warriors! Last night a career 20 season, 5 championships, 18 all star appearances plus one rape scandal, in the NBA all with the same team- LA Lakers, was capped off as Kobe Bryant scored 60 points and a win in his last game and the team’s final 2016 game, they didn’t make it to the playoffs. The Golden State Warriors are headed to the playoff and their final regualr season game almost got overshadowed if not for the fact that they just broke a long standing record held by the Chicago Bulls of 72 wins during the regular season.  Read more

• Facebook is poaching and building. Dr. Regina Dugan, most recently Google’s vice president of advanced technology and projects, has been hired to lead a team at Facebook called Building 8, to develop hardware powered by Facebook software that will combine R&D with product development, and focus on technologies that “fluidly blend physical and digital worlds.”

• LVMH Moët Hennesy Louis Vuitton’s Kendo division is collaborating with Rihanna on a complete makeup collection called Fenty Beauty by Rihanna to debut in the fall of 2017. The Rihanna makeup brand will be the third major color cosmetics project that Kendo has undertaken, following those by Kat Von D Beauty and Marc Jacobs Beauty.
