On Thursday Harper’s Bazaar Executive & Beauty Editor Avril Graham along with Sarah Bogan, Steffie Madigan, Gloria Masterson(IMAGINE Fashion Chair), Gwen Solberg hosted the Tailored Suit Project at Max Mara Chicago. The event which had in attendance some of the Women’s Board members was a precursor to the upcoming IMAGINE fashion show October 2.
Mercedes-Benz Evolution Tour Chicago Event with Young The Giant
The Mercedes Benz Evolution tour landed in Chicago last Thursday(9/18) with a party and concert at Revel Fulton Market. The nine city tour which kicked off in New York City, had the Band Young Giant playing to a packed crowd of music fans that enjoyed the complimentary libations. This was also a chance for those in attendance to view the newly launched Mercedes GLA.
Miller Lite Tap the Future
The Millerlite #Tapthefuture competition came to a close Thursday 9/18 when 5 different teams that were competing for the final grand prize of $200,000 all assembled at Miller Coors Headquarters here in Chicago and a winner was announced. The teams: Bellhops, Enso Ink, Million Dollar Scholar, SnkTrd and SnowGate were the finalist teams vying for the prize. The celebration of entrepreneurship and friendship began with a few words from Miller CEO
The compettion which began earlier this year and included multi city stops to hear the teams pitch their startups went to different parts of the country.
The $200,000 grand prize went to Bellhops, the Chattanooga, Tennessee-based company that hires college students to handle simple moves around the country(think of them as the Uber for moving) founded Cameron Doody, Adam Haney, Matt Patterson and Stephen Vlahos won after two rounds of pitching to renowned business experts, including Daymond John from ABC’s “Shark Tank.”
