Last night(9/25), celebrated fashion designer Isabel Toledo was in Chicago for the launch of her collaboration with Lane Bryant with a party at the store’s downtown Chicago location.
Mrs. Toledo, celebrated all over for her brilliant fashion design and construction has dressed numerous celebrities and of course First Lady Michelle Obamas- her outfit for the first term inauguration ceremony was by Isabel Toledo. The Isabel Toledo for Lane Bryant collection is the third installment in a year long collaboration that will see another launch for the holidays. Isabel and her husband Ruben Toledo, also celebrated in the fashion world, Lane Bryant CEO Linda Heasley wearing custom made Isabel Toledo outfit and style blogger greeted and mingled with guests.
The Isabel Toledo line came about when she was approached by Lane Bryant CEO Linda Heasley, who noted that she admired Isabel’s design which was the reason why they collaborated with her.
She also shared that Lela Rose will be their next designer collaboration, launching next year.
The 24 piece collections includes everything from curve hugging sheath dress, a tunic that can go from day to night with a zip, pants and boucle knit jacket and dress. The fan favorite was the luxe wrap coat.
