Forbes released their 2014 list of the “Worlds Highest Paid Models of 2014” and Gisele “the body” Bundchen ranks at the top of the list with $47million way more that what the second and third on the list, Doutzen Kroes & Adriana Lima $8mil pre tax made. The list is full of recognizable model names and faces but we couldn’t help notice that some of the most recognized faces in the modeling world did not make the list, especially those that walk the fashion shows and front the ad campaigns. So who got snubbed?
Naomi Campbell
I mean she’s been in the industry longer than most of the names on the list and she seems to be booking ad campaigns(Beats by Dre) Editorials which we know barely pays and she walks some show, but that probably doesn’t equal the large pay and she’s not in a large company cosmetics contract currently.
Karen Elson
The red head has fronted campaigns for fashion brands including Louis Vuitton, Jason Wu, Sonia Rykiel, Tom Ford to name a few.
Raquel Zimmerman
Over the years she’s the model that’s booked the most ad campaigns especially for the crucial September issues but yet, not ranked. She’s been the face of ad campaigns for Lanvin, Fendi, Narciso Rodriguez perfume, Marni and Bottega to name a few.
Valery Kauffman
She’s one of the hottest models out right now having booked ad campaigns for Saint Laurent, and walked most of the couture shows this year.

Even with a Calvin Klein, Prada fragrance, Armani and Stella McCartney contract under her belt, she couldn’t crack the list.
Based on the models that did make Forbes’ list a few things are for sure, beauty contracts especially with giants such as L’Oreal, Maybelline & Estee Lauder helps. Fashions houses H&M, Victoria Secret, David Yurman. You can do editorial from here until next tomorrow, those and catwalks don’t pay, large ad contracts do.
