A semi truck heading northbound on the Dan Ryan Expressway was shot at by someone in a gold Impala, early this morning. The driver was not injured but the hood of the semi did have bullet marks. [ABC 7 CHICAGO]

A police standoff in Missouri ended after 24 hours with a man, William R. Williams and his two young children ages 4 and 2, dead. It is being suspected as a murder suicide due to the fact the father died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. [ABC NEWS]
WORLD NEWS
Parts of South Pacific Island Vanuatu, that was recently hit by cyclone Pam, now has aid workers with medical and sanitation supplies, water, food and shelter equipment on Tanna and neighboring Erromango Island, which was previously inaccessible. 11 people were confirmed dead and thousands have been left homeless. • Russia’s not backing down, not even in the face of sanctions being dropped. The Kremlin will not give Crimea back to Ukraine. Russia’s parliament approved the annexation of Crimea last year after residents of the peninsula supported the move in a referendum.
SPORTS

The 2015 NFL Draft will be held in Chicago April 30-May 2 but one major draft pick will not be attending. Former FSU quarterback Jameis Winston stay home and watch the draft on TV with his family, reports states. [ESPN]
BUSINESS

33-year-old Mark Malik (real name Moazzam Ifzal Malik), a former waiter, security guard and New York traffic cop who ran his own hedge fund with assets of $100 million, in a $1 billion deal to take his company public, and launched a second $100 million fund, was all coke dreams and fraud. The SEC accuses him of stealing more than $700,000 from investors and he will face trial on 28 criminal counts with up to 20 years in prison if convicted. [WSJ]

Joe Fresh founder Joe Mimran will exit the brand he founded nine years ago and hand over to day-to-day responsibilities to company president, Mario Grauso.
