• Two State Reps in Lansing Michigan are being urged to resign after a staffer blew the lid off their alleged affair. Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat, both married with kids would greet each other with “long, romantic, highly personal hugs and embraces.” The staffer, Joshua Kline who has since resigned, also noted Gamrat’s husband confronted the two after spotting his wife leave Courser’s hotel room at 2 am. • Yesterday a deadly bomb blast at a shrine in downtown Bangkok killed at least 18 people with 140 injuries reported and now video footage recently released shows the alleged bomber. The image of a man wearing a yellow t-shirt and carrying a backpack into but leaving the shrine without it, has been circulated. A second blast occurred shortly after though no casualties were reported. [USA TODAY]

• Yankees rookie pitcher Bryan Mitchell has a nasal fracture from being hit in the head by a line drive off the bat of Eduardo Nunez Monday night against the Minnesota Twins at Yankee Stadium.

• Brazil’s Petrobas may have to cough up $1.6 billion to the US to settle criminal and civil probes, though it may not come for a few years. The SEC subpoena information about its corruption investigation of bribing, bid rigging and racketeering which has led to more than 100 indictments of politicians, executives and as campaign contributions. This is the same company linked to Brazil President Dilma Roussef’s corruption scandal and call for impeachment. [REUTERS]

• Emile Hirsch was sentenced to 15 days in jail and 50 hours of community service and a fine of $4,750 stemming from his assault of studio executive Danielle Bernfield at Sundance earlier this year. [TMZ]
