Well that wasn’t Christian like. Shaun Harrison, a Dorchester reverend and former Dean at Boston’s English High School has been arraigned and charged with assault with intent to murder, aggravated assault and battery, and unlawful possession of a firearm. The student he shot n the back of the head with a handgun, survived and told police that he sold marijuana for Harrison, who ran a drug ring, until the two got into a dispute. [BOSTON]

Perhaps as a precursor to upcoming International Women’s Day on Sunday March 8, Germany’s lower house of parliament approved & passed legislation on Friday requiring major companies to allot 30 percent of seats on non-executive boards to women,reports Reuters. It will be enforced from 2016, affecting more than 100 listed companies. Though Germany is led by a woman, Chancellor Angela Merkel,a recently published survey said 59 percent of mid-size companies in Germany did not have a single woman in a leadership position, compared to the European Union average of 36 percent. The Federal Reserve stress test projected Thursday that Goldman Sachs’s total risk-based capital ratio would fall to 8.1 percent in a severe economic downturn, weaker than what the central bank estimated in last year’s test and barely above the 8 percent minimum. Goldman Sachs’s narrow buffer in the Fed’s eyes probably will leave the New York-based firm with less than $1 billion in excess capital to pay out to shareholders beyond the dividends the firm has been disbursing. Harrison Ford is recovering afters yesterday’s crash after sustaining non life threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery. He was flying a WW2 vintage plane today which stalled upon take off. He suffered multiple gashes to his head and was seen bleeding on the scene. [US WEEKLY]

Balenciaga, under the creative direction of Alexander Wang has seen double digit growth and is set to open a new store in Madrid March 13, where Founding couturier Cristóbal Balenciaga opened his first boutique in Madrid in 1933.
