That’s what Uber is fighting in a new lawsuit brought on by three uber drivers contending they are employees and entitled to reimbursement for expenses, including gas and vehicle maintenance. If this suit moves forward as a class action, it could cover more than 160,000 California drivers, reshaping the sharing economy. Speaking of employees with legal issues, things aren’t looking good for Jared Fogle. The FBI spent months investigating him before the house raid and it was revealed a Florida woman wore a wire stating Fogle often made ‘surprising and inappropriate’ remarks about subject matter that was ‘similar to what the FBI found when they raided his home.’ [REUTERS]

• Two people in southern Germany were shot and killed on Friday and the gunman has been arrested; though no indications the crime was politically motivated, the investigation is ongoing. [WSJ]

• Alibaba Group Holding’s Patrick Liu Chunning, president of its digital entertainment unit was arrested on Thursday. The arrest may be related to a lawsuit won against Liu by Tencent Holdings Ltd. in a non-compete case when he left to join Alibaba in 2013. [BLOOMBERG]
