OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY

The boys of the Sigma Nu chapter at Old Dominion are in trouble and their chapter has been suspended after three sexually suggestive banners hung from their off campus house over the weekend. Its back to school for colleges which means new class of freshmen. One of the signs read: “Rowdy and Fun. Hope your baby girl is ready for a good time.” Nothing like an offensive banner to welcome you back to school. [FOX NEWS]


JOE BIDEN

Will he put his name in the ring for President? According to reports Vice President Joe Biden has received President Barack Obama’s “blessing” to make a 2016 bid for the White House. He was expected to huddle at his home Monday night with Anita Dunn and Bob Bauer. [CNN]

FERGUSON

Municipal Judge Donald McCullin in Ferguson, Missouri has ordered all arrest warrants issued in the city before Dec. 31, 2014 withdrawn. In an effort to change court practices following a Justice Department report that criticized city leaders and court practices that exploited people and in some cases minor violations turned into major financial burdens. TURKEY

Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has appointed a Prime Minister to form an interim government that will lead the country to a new election later this year. It’s being reported the reason he wants a new election is so his party can win back the parliamentary majority which was lost in June. Keeping an eye on Turkey as they recently became a US ally in the fight against ISIS. [ABC NEWS]

Diamond company DeBeers in partnership with LVMH have selected Zaha Hadid, Liya Kebede, Diana Kroll and Karen Mok as the inspirational women for their ‘Moments in Light” initiative which raises money for Women International.
