The video of South Carolina senior deputy Ben Fields which shows him dragging a teen student. Now the department’s Sheriff Leon Lotts says theres a third video that shows the student punching the deputy but unclear if this was prior to being violently flipped from her seat and dragged in the classroom. Fields, whom students referred to as “Officer slam” has been suspended without pay and the school district called the incident “shamefully shocking.” [NBC]

Iraq’s PM Haidet al-Abadi says that contrary to Defense Secretary ashton Carter’s revelation the US may carry more ground raids, they will need clearance through the Iraqi government though the importance of US assistance in iraq was recognized.
