A Russian-built Antonov-12 cargo plane that took off from the South Sudanese capital of Juba crashed early Wednesday morning on the banks of the White Nile River. The plane was bound for the South Sudanese town of Paloich, in an area of oil fields in the north of the country. Since this story is developing, the number of people that were on board is yet to be confirmed though reports state about 20 people on board; at least 41 people died including an unknown number of people on the ground with reports of two survivors. The cause of the crash might have been engine failure.

Might want to rethink where you go for lunch today if you are in the Oregon or Washington state area. The Pacific Northwest is dealing with an e-coli outbreak that has already sickened 37 people and most of the cases have been linked to eight Chipotle restaurants. “Chipotle has closed all its 43 restaurants located in and around Seattle and Portland because of the E. coli O26 outbreak” making this the third food safety incident this year for.
