Earnest asks loan applicants about their current job, salary and education history and any balance they have in a savings or retirement account.
♦ That’s a first. Credit Suisse plead guilty to (financial) criminal wrongdoing. The Swiss bank agreed to plead guilty to one count of conspiring to aid tax evasion, will also pay about $2.6 billion in penalties and hire an independent monitor for up to two years.
