♦ He gone! Dov Charney, the founder and CEO of American Apparel has been fired from the company. Through the years the company has had numerous allegations of sexual misconduct. After investigation, Dov Charney was fired by his Board of Directors for sexual misconduct. Under the terms of Charney’s contract, he will be given 30 days before his termination is finalized.
In the meantime, board members Allan Mayer and David Danziger have been appointed as co-chairmen, John Luttrell is its interim CEO.
