Ken Griffin the billionaire founder of Citadel, filed for divorce from his wife of 10 years Anne Dias Griffin. It seems the filing came out of left field for Ms. Dias according to reports as she was away on holiday with her children. They both have a foundation named after them, the Kenneth and Anne Griffin Foundation,
♦ A Glenview, IL based Duran Duran fan club is being sued by the band for $40,000. The club had agreed to sell merchandise and collect membership fees, handing 75 per cent of profits over to the band.
♦ Rodell Sanders, a former gang member who had served 20 years in jail, taught himself law in order to get a retrial and on Tuesday he was a free man

♦ Babar Suleman and his son Haris Suleman, 17 who has been found dead after their plane crashed off the coast of American Samoa. The teen who was attempting a world flight record and to raise money to build schools in Pakistan, was flying a single-engine aircraft co-piloted by his father. The family holds hope that Babar may be found alive.
♦ Donald Trump is headed to Washington D.C.

A new Trump International Hotel broke ground in Washington DC. The hotel will be located in the The Old Post Office on Pennsylvania Avenue between the White House and the Capitol.The hotel will have 270 guestrooms averaging more than 600 square feet, making them the largest hotel rooms in the city.
Two Presidential Suites located in the historic former offices of the Postmaster General will be 3,500 and 5,000 square feet.

♦ A plane carrying over 100 passengers from Burkina Faso to Algiers has disappeared from radar. The Algerian authorities have reported that the plane has crashed
♦ Facebook has hit over 1.32 billion users worldwide and reported record high earnings. The company’s shares rose 7.6 percent to a high of $76.74 after a surge in mobile advertising revenue.
