Have you been charged a $.50 fee for using your credit card in a  taxi recently? well it’s illegal and the city’s Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection sent out a notice to the cab industry this month informing drivers that “credit card payment transaction fees or technology fees may not be charged to passengers” but Chicago alderman Anthony Beale wants the surcharge on top of newly enforced new 15% fare hike, oh this will not make people use Uber or Lyft AT ALL?…Marilyn Hartman dubbed the “serial stowaway” has been arrested AGAIN at a bus shelter by O’Hare this after she was ordered to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet…The MacArthur Foundation has awarded 14 Chicago arts non profits including Hyde Park Art Center, Young Chicago Authors, the 2016 MacArthur Award for Creative & Effective Institution.

Mob Wives star Angela Raiola aka Big Ang has passed; she died this morning after her battle with stage 4 brain and lung cancer; Earlier this week, Raiola was a guest on the “Dr. Oz” show…James Goldstein, wealthy art collector/photographer/super rich guy, has donated to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art his historic home, featured in “The Big Lebowski,” and some of its more valuable contents worth $40 million designed by architect John Lautner…Channing Dungey was just named head of ABC entertainment, becoming the first African-American woman to run a broadcast network after Paul Lee stepped down…The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon is in LA this week and last night Jay Leno made an apperance along with Jennifer Lopez(also in an ew skit) and Zayn Malik performed…Adele, after her sound issue marred Grammys performance, admitted on the Ellen show “I cried pretty much all day yesterday. Next time I have any sound issues I am gonna stop. I’ll be like, sorry that’s not working for me. If we have time to do it again, let’s do it. Otherwise, bye!”
