Yesterday, Vincente Montano was shot to death by SWAT team after he pepper sprayed inside the Carmike Hickory 8 Theater in Antioch and cut one man with an hatchet. Montano was institutionalized at least three times. the second attack on a movie theater in three weeks. [ABC NEWS]

Ceremonies to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the world’s first atomic bombing in Hiroshima that killed 140,000 took place this morning at peace park in Japan as citizens worry about Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s bill that could send Japanese troops into conflict for the first time since World War II. An activist investor is an individual or group that purchases large numbers of a public company’s shares to obtain seats on the company’s board with the goal of effecting a major change in the company.
