FRANCE

Friday evening, orchestrated terror attacks at six locations in and around Paris including Bataclan concert hall, France’s national stadium and at least two restaurants, rocked the country leaving over 100 dead and 350 injured.
The attacks comes only mere days following several ISIS targeted attacks including one that reportedly killed Jihadi John. As authorities investigate, France’s Justice Minister Christiane Taubira said that all seven attackers who participated in the attacks were dead though several people that may have been accomplices are being named as suspects of the attacks including Salah Abdeslam who apparently was stopped, questioned and released by officials right after the attack at the Framce-Belgium border. Abdelhamid Abaaoud has been named as one of the masterminds behind Friday’s massacre and his name was implicated in the foiled attack on the high-speed Thalys train between Brussels and Paris in August. Ahmad al-Mohammad blew himself up outside the stadium. Mohammed Abdelsalam though has been arrested.
Overnight France dropped 20 bombs on positions held by Islamic State and have launched multiple anti-terrorism raids. [CNN]
