ELECTION RESULTS

Oh what a night! The results are in and depending on where you stand it was either a good one or pretty bad. Marco Rubio, failing to win his homestate of Florida suspended his campaign (why do they say suspend when essentially its deaded?); Kasich won his homestate Ohio and came third in few others so his is still breathing. On the Democratic side Hillary won all 5 states which is huge for her campaign momentum but Sanders is not really #FeelingTheBern though he was close in OH. Closer to home, in Chicago Kim Foxx clobbered Anita Alvarez and will be the new Cook County State’s Atty. Andrea Zopp, former CEO of the Chicago Urban League didn’t have a chance against Duckworth who won by 64%. Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy Brown, whose office is facing a federal probe, won the Democratic nomination.

Federal Reserve policymakers are set to meet today and Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen will hold a news conference, an interest rate hike may be announced. At the time of the December 2015 .25% interest hike, the 17 policymakers projected there would be four more 0.25% point hikes in 2016. We are reaching end of Q1 so it’s a possibility.

Um why tho?! Seems the only real-time social content channel is twitter and snapchat, follow us @socialifechi
