STATE DINNER
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau along with his wife Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau were hosted by President Obama and First Lady Michelle last night to conclude their three day visit. Canadian stars on hand as guests included Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Michael J. Fox, SNL’s Lorne Michaels Mike Meyers, “Grey’s Anatomy” actress Sandra Oh. President Obama mentioned he may well be the most popular Canadian named Justin (sorry Beiber). This was the first state dinner for Canada in nearly 20 years. Mrs. Obama wore Jason Wu, Mrs. Grégoire-Trudeau wore Lucian Matis. This was also the first state dinner attended by Malia and Sasha Obama.

- Two teenage sisters from upstate New York that had been missing for a year have been found and family acquaintance Amanda Hellman has been arrested on kidnapping charges.

• There’s a lot of chatter about Yahoo lately. Yesterday two independent directors were named to its board. The two directors are Eric Brandt, former CFO of Broadcom Corp., and Catherine Friedman, previously a managing director at Morgan Stanley, where she served as strategic and transaction adviser. CEO Marissa Mayer appeared in an interview on The Charlie Rose Show and word is they might be headed for a proxy battle or sale, yikes!

- It was announced yesterday that Gotham costars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin welcomed their first child together. Their baby girl is named Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan. Baccarin is currently going through divorce proceedings from estranged husband Austin Chick.
• Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and kids have moved into an eight-bedroom, $21,000-a-month rental home in Surrey .
FASHION
- H&M Sport campaign’s new face is none other than Caitlyn Jenner, the retired Olympic gold medalist. An H&M rep said “as one of the world’s most celebrated athletes, as part of this H&M Sports campaign because we want to illustrate that everything is possible – in sports, and in life. It is a collection of performance sportswear made to celebrate individuality and self-belief”.”
• Online shopping service Wantable Inc., based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin has raised $2mil in their Series B round expected to close Monday.
