The Cleveland Cavaliers became the first team in NBA history to come from a 3-1 series deficit to win the title game, beating the Golden State Warriors in game seven 93-89. The heart thumping game, that was close in score, really took a turn in favor of the Cavs with about 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Warriors played very sloppy, Cavs’ defense was clutch and as time ran out Lebron James, who promised a title when he came back to Cleveland in 2014, collapsed crying and hugging teammates. • With six weeks to go before the start of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, the acting governor of Rio de Janeiro’s state government Francisco Dornelles, declared a state of financial disaster Friday. Meanwhile on Sunday morning, it was reported that a gang of 25 men armed with semi-automatic rifles, pistols and hand grenades invaded the Souza Aguiar hospital to free drug lord Nicolas Labre Pereira de Jesus aka “Fat Family.”

• The Lucas museum saga with Friends of the Park continues. After an initial block to having the museum built by the lakefront, they recently pulled a 180 saying they will allow talks but on Sunday, Chicago Park District accused Friends of the Parks of issuing an “outrageous” list of demands that is “nothing short of extortion.” Some of the items in the leaked memo includes: 5% of all revenue from the Lucas Museum be funneled into a fund for neighborhood parks. •  Cannes Lions, the yearly convergence of creative types and ad execs aka the “Festival of Creativity” kicked off Saturday and will go until June 25. Some hollywood types are also scheduled to attend and give talks including Harvey Weinstein, Will Smith, Gwyneth Paltrow, Channing Tatum. Its a big deal when the big studio and TV bosses like Les Moonves, Jeff Bewkes, James Murdoch and Viacom’s Philippe Dauman all head there; Ad money is big money. The festival is expecting a record of over 15,000 delegates this year, all of which contribute to the $58 million in revenues parent company Ascential reported from the festival in 2015.

•  Gigi Hadid hosted the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards in Toronto last night. Those in attendance included Hailey Baldwin, Amber Rose, Pretty Little Liars’ Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson, Nick Jonas to name a few.

FASHION

• It was all about menswear this weekend in Italy with Pitti Uomo taking place in Florence and menswear spring 2017 collections down the runway in Milan. Pitti saw presentations from Visvim, Raf Simons.  In Milan, GQ, Versace and Esquire hosted parties feteing a special guest. Cindy Crawford’s son Presley Gerber along with celeb kids Rafferty Law, Gabriel-Kane Day Lewis all rocked the Dolce and Gabbana runway.
