The Turkish military said its jets had shot down the aircraft after it continued on its trajectory despite three warnings. Russian jets violated Turkish air space on two occasions earlier this month and Turkey has warned it will respond if the incursions are repeated.

It will be Cubs vs. Mets in the seven game National League Championship Series matchup that will begin Saturday in New York. The first two games will be played at Citi field. Game 3/4/5 will be at Wrigley Field from Tuesday October 20 -Thursday Oct. 22.

FANTASY SPORTS

Nevada regulators have ordered daily fantasy sports sites like DraftKings and FanDuel out of the state if they operate without a gambling license, right now, no one operating a daily fantasy site has one. This comes as regulators, investigators and lawmakers look into their legality and also if they are using insider information to win at competing sites. The Nevada Gaming Control Board determined that daily fantasy sports, “involves wagering on the collective performance of individuals participating in sporting events,” making it a sports pool and requiring a gambling license in the state.
