Untitled Supper Club Announces New Culinary Team
Veteran Chef Frank Mnuk will lead the culinary team at River North’s speakeasy restaurant and lounge Untitled Supper Club, it was recently announced. Their newly revamped menu of approachable reinventions of contemporary American dishes will feature familiar items with twists like Crispy Pork Ribs with piquillo pepper caramel and Asian pear, Chicken Fried Egg with lavender cured pork belly just a sampling. On the bar side, they are also stepping up their cocktail program with Beverage Director Josh Novy.
“My focus is to elevate the food program by turning classic American dishes into creative and extraordinary experiences with approachable flavors,” said Mnuk. Untitled’s new food and beverage menus are currently being served in the whiskey library and dining rooms, Monday through Saturday.
Shore Club, the lakefront dining destination perfectly nestled between the bustling Lakeshore Trails on the edge of North Avenue Beach, is returning to the Chicago dining scene Friday, May 11 for its first full season. The lakefront destination will feature an all new frozen drink menu featuring Frosé All Day, Frozignon Blanc, Cold Fashioned and more, plus an all-new patio offering healthy grab and go options, weekly morning fitness programming, and much more. – Halal Guys’ third Chicago location opened Saturday May 5 in the Wicker Park neighborhood at 1415 N Milwaukee Ave.
– Dos Toros, on May 7, opened its second Chicago location at 300 N. Wacker Drive. This will be the fast casual taqueria’s first location to open with their brand-new “market vegetables” options from the start, featuring a fresh mix of Butternut Squash, Tuscan Kale, cremini mushrooms, and Shishito peppers sauteed in coconut oil. Note to patrons, this location will also be cashless just like their N. Dearborn spot which opened last year.
Regalis Opens Chicago Warehouse
Regalis, a specialty foods importer of record, trading in fresh truffles, rare foraged wild edibles, and premium caviar have opened a Chicago office. Ian Purkayastha dubbed the Prince of Truffles founded the company at a very early age. They sell specialty items such as Uni, Ramps, Black Truffles, Osetra caviar to some of the finest restaurants.
