Dearest readers, Bridgerton has a new delightful delicacy moving to Grosvenor Square, arriving at the Ton just in time for Season 4 of the hit Netflix Shondaland series.
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams announced a new collaboration with Bridgerton which will include two limited-edition flavors designed to transport you to the ton. The Bridgerton x Jeni’s ice cream collaboration will be available at Jeni’s scoop shops in Chicago and nationwide in pints, though the two flavors will debut separately.
The first flavor to drop will be ‘Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake’ starting on January 15 at Jeni’s scoop shops and to order online. The Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake is a “tribute to the fashionable and discerning monarch of the Ton, the flavor channels the elegance of a Victoria sponge with the lushness of Princess Cake, bright berries, soft sponge, and custard notes coming together in a confection worthy of Her Majesty herself, and tinted lavender at her behest.”
The next month the second of the two part Bridgerton x Jeni’s ice cream collab will see the flavour Earl Grey Crème Brûlée dropping in February (online Feb. 9; at Jeni’s scoop shops Feb. 12). The limited edition tea influenced ice cream will transform the everyday afternoon tea ritual into something quite memorable. Earl Grey Crème Brûlée is decribed as “fragrant Earl Grey is steeped into a silky custard base and finished with burnt-sugar candies that echo the crackle of a freshly torched crème brûlée.”
Both the Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake and Earl Grey Crème Brûlée are limited edition ice cream flavours as part of the collaboration.
