Chicago, the best big city in the US will once again play host to the WNBA All-Star week of activities and game and we couldn’t be more excited to share what events are taking place. A host of activations, private dinners and more are lined up before the big game set to take place at United Center on Saturday July 25. There’s no better way to take in #summertimechi than with some exciting basketball, WNBA celebrities and giveaways. This will be Chicago’s second time hosting the annual event, having hosted back in 2022 but the hype around the WNBA has grown exponentially since then and co-owner and operating chairman of Chicago Sky Nadia Rawlinson promises a bigger experience this time around. “Team Coop” will play for Angels Athletics. “Team Spoon” will support Girls in the Game. Sadly, the WNBA AllStar game will not feature any hometown Chicago Sky players.

The 2026 WNBA Allstar game will be played July 25 at Chicago’s United Center. The team rosters for the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, were selected by WNBA legends and special All-Star general managers Cynthia Cooper “Team Coop” and Teresa Weatherspoon “Team Spoon.” Includes 10 starters and 12 reserves, making picks without regard to a player’s conference affiliation or position. The starters were previously selected through a combination of voting by fans, media, and current players; the reserves were selected by the league’s 15 head coaches. Also in recognition of the WNBA’s milestone 30th season, the league is introducing a new initiative to the AT&T All-Star Game through which the All-Star teams will compete for a $100,000 prize pool that will benefit two Chicago-based organizations dedicated to keeping girls involved in sports. Women’s Small Business Cohort Pitch Competition presented by Lendistry. The Women’s Small Business Cohort is the Sky Foundation’s flagship program supporting women entrepreneurs across the Chicagoland area. This year’s four-week program brought together 12 selected participants who have focused on financial infrastructure, marketing and customer acquisition, team building and operational capacity.
