An organization focused on supporting entrepreneurs who are often overlooked in traditional funding spaces is bringing their national tour Chicago this summer. On July 9 and 10, The BGV In Your City Tour will make its Chicago stop with 2 nights of fun for entrepreneurs, founders, content creators and more. Your attendance helps provide direct capital and visibility to under-resourced founders.
BGV’s Pitch Competition is like ‘Shark Tank’ mixed with the elements of a classic ‘Rent Party. ’ At a BGV pitch competition, the audience decides the winner through Raisify.co, our voting platform, with their dollars. The winner is determined by a point system, not the dollar amount raised. The money raised goes to the founders in the form of a grant despite placement in the competition.
The prizes for the pitch competition are:
1st place: $15k
2nd place: $10k
3rd place: $5k
