Emmy nominated actress from the show Black-ish, fashion muse Tracee Ellis Ross is bringing something special to meet the needs of the curly, coily & tight-textured hair community and who “need more than a quarter size of product” (AMEN to that!) with the pending launch of her new hair care line Pattern. The announcement was made via Instagram and an exclusive interview with WWD.
The beauty line which is 10 years in the making will be Ross’ first foray into the natural hair care business but she will join a list of faces on screen that have diversified into beauty like Gabrielle Union, Rihanna to name a few. Pattern is set to launch on September 9 on patternbeauty.com and Ulta Pattern beauty, according to the instagram description is setting out “to fulfill the unmet beauty needs of the curly, coily & tight-textured hair community. PATTERN is here to empower & nourish curly, coily & tight-textured hair. We’re excited to join the natural hair movement & to celebrate our hair for what it is: beautiful!
