EVENT: Grand Chefs Experience
ABOUT: The Grand Chefs Experience benefiting Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Greater Illinois Chapter will feature Chicago’s most sought-after chefs, mixologists, and pastry chefs for an exclusive evening of culinary delights, philanthropy and networking. Special guest this year with be Colton Underwood, currently starring on ABC’s The Bachelor. The evening’s hosts are Elliott Bambrough and Marley Kayden from Chicago’s Best. The evening includes interactive dining; exquisite hors d’oeuvres, exclusive cocktails and exceptional desserts all for an incredible cause. The Chicagoland area’s finest chefs will showcase their culinary creativity and talent in a jubilant and unique setting. All guests will enjoy a Chefs Tasting that will feature tasting stations with signature hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and a culinary inspired silent auction. Reserved sponsor tables will feature Chef Tableside Service, where a chef will personally prepare and present a tasting menu of signature bites. Following the live program, guests will enjoy custom cocktails and pastries during the Nightcap.

EVENT: Game of Thrones Pop Up Bar at Replay Lincoln Park
ABOUT: Chicago’s favorite arcade bar will transformation to a Game of Thrones pop-up experience for fans to enjoy in advance of the final season. Admission to the pop up is free, but for the first time ever, Replay will introduce a VIP ticket package, which will include a pint of mead or Ommegang brew in a keepsake goblet, a commemorative pin or print, and express entry to the bar for $20. Guests may enjoy exploring the seven kingdoms of Westeros, photo opportunities with White Walkers, dragons, and the Throne Room, and a variety of events during the pop-up bar such as a “Red Wedding” feast and Game of Thrones trivia.

EVENT: 5th Annual Patrick J. Ryan Main Event
ABOUT: The Patrick J. Ryan Main Event was established by former Illinois Attorney General Jim Ryan and his wife Marie and their family in memory of their son Patrick who died of suicide in 2007. Proceeds support a program created for children and youth who have endured the loss of a loved one to suicide, established at Catholic Charities through the Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) Program. The event will feature a Casino Night! ABOUT: Marking 100 years since the 1919 Chicago race riots, we’re part of a year-long initiative to confront the legacy of the most violent week in Chicago history. “Chicago 1919: Confronting the Race Riots” explores 100 years of racial division through panel discussions, bike tours, film screenings, poetry slams, and more. The Opening Event kicks of a year-long series of conversations on the history and legacy of the 1919 race riots. Following a dramatic, multi-media presentation about the riots, with Jabari Chiphe playing the role of Eugene Williams, audience members will have the opportunity to join in breakout conversations.
