The scoop: College of DuPage Foundation hosted “MAC Motown: Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” to celebrate the programs of the McAninch Arts Center (MAC More than 500 attendees joined honored guest and COD alum, Jim Belushi in the MAC lobby for the official dedication of the Belushi Performance Hall following a performance of classic Motown hits performed by the Motown Experience backed by New Philharmonic, under the baton of Kirk Muspratt.

The scoop: Erica Domesek, founder of P.S. – I made this along with Chicago mixologist Adam Seger hosted the national launch of STUDEBAKER. The event featured STUDEBAKER Old Fashioned and STUDEBAKER Manhattan cocktails and entertainment by Chicago swing band The Flat Cats; Guests were transported back in time when they boarded a refurbished, one-of-a-kind train car.

The scoop: More than 200 of Chicago’s most fabulous and philanthropic filled the top floor of River North cocktail lounge, Hubbard Inn for the Women’s Auxiliary Board of Ronald McDonald House near Lurie Children’s 5th Annual Cocktail Party, ‘Fabulous 5.’ Guests enjoyed an evening of food, drinks, friends and fun. Co-chaired by Carol Beitler, Nina Mariano and Lesley Prizant Goodman, the event raised more than $50,000 to support families of hospitalized children staying together at the Ronald McDonald House located in Streeterville.

The scoop: Five Mario Make Me A Model finalists along with professional models strutted down the runway in looks from Chicago designers Two PennyBlue, Elena Bobysheva, The Order, Misanthrope and Sahar Dada. Kaylyn Pryor of Evanston was the winner of the 2015 competition.
