Rush CEO Dr. Larry Goodman kicked off the fashion show which began with a short video explaining how the proceeds are making a difference and expanding the medical field. This year’s event proceeds will support Cancer Bioinformatics, which combines computer science, statistics and mathematics with insights by doctors and researchers to provide individualized medical treatment and the dynamic work of Dr. Bala Hota and Dr. Melody Cobleigh at Rush University Medical Center.

After the video and speech, we were off into the exciting, music bumping, designer filled fashion show. With boutiques such as Chalk and Neapolitan, to amazing designers like Oscar de la Renta, MAJE, and Sandro, the whole event was upbeat and exciting from start to finish. Between the lovable kids, to the sassy ladies Abby Dunn, Toni Canada, Whitley Bouma Herbert, Mirja Haffner, and handsome men like Ryan Chiaverini, Joe Minoso, Nazr Mohammed, and many more, the crowd went wild and the applause and cheers filled the room. After the fashion show everyone mingled and indulged in delicious bites and drinks.

Before leaving guests definitely made it a must to stop at the dessert table on the way out to grab some donuts and cake pops to go!
All in all the continuously longest running charitable fashion show in the country did not let down with another exciting event!
